Reflection paper 6
According the author, Facing Mount Kenya was a document in the anthropological of literature, and was considered as a valuable key to the organization of the African society and their nature. It is not only a formal study of humans’ life, but a work of considerable literary merit. In Addition, the author showed how compassionate those people are and the values of their life.
From the lecture SITTING QUIETLY REVEALS CROCODILE'S TRICKS, you will discover different stories on how those African man acts with the wife and children and also it will give you an image of the actions and personality of their wives. Also you see in the story how a child act and his actions are so unconscious.

Freud’s theory also talks about Structural Model which includes id, ego, and superego. By id I meant everything that a new born does unconsciously in order to satisfy his or her needs. By ego he meant everything that you know how to control and, you starting to know what are right or what are wrong. Ego should be the strongest in anyone life. By superego he meant that the individual had knowledge over ethic and basically wants to analyze every situation.
Freud also mentions the Topographical Model, which talk about the conscious and the unconscious. The conscious is everything that you have knowledge of doing and the unconscious is everything else in you life that you have never experience or that you do not know about.

Reflection Paper IV
On the other hand, Matthew Arnold's critic Tylor view of culture of being one love of perfection and the study of perfection; and he also stated that the cultured person is one who knows the best that has been said and thought in the world. There were also other definitions of culture about people style, personality etc…
The second lecture of this week talks about the second part of transformation context. This transformation context is the one that deal with our growth and with our growth comes our culture. In addition, the way we communicate, the way we act, and the theory that we put in practice. Culture is about accepting your origin and the others too, it also believes in who you are by believing in yourself first. If you do not have a culture it is feeling like not have an identity that is how important culture is and that is what those lectures are trying to make us understand.

Reflection Paper III
Paradigm shift which is also call revolution of science is a term that was created by Thomas Kuhn in a book that he wrote in 1962. That book was subject to describe the theory of science and it is also in contrast to his idea of normal science. According to the author, science is described as a series of peaceful interludes punctuated by intellectual violent revolutions. All those things that we discover and created in this world, we are the one that create the evolution of the word and that is what paradigm is about. It is also our perception of things, our inventions and our cultures. Culture, religion, gender, and occupation, all of them of are object of our paradigm, but on the other hand paradigms shift only deals with the scientific part which means invention of electronics or any kinds of inventions that men kind could create.
God is also part of our paradigm because we learned from time to time how to control our actions, which means what is good or not and what we should do or not. God is also part of our way of behaving.
Reflection Paper II
It is not only human that transform animals also have their way of growing. For instance, we could have an egg right now and a couple a months later it becomes a fly which means everything can transform from one thing to another, like the weather, plans etc… That is why Webster stated that transformation is an act, process, or instance of change in structure, appearance, or character; a conversion, revolution, makeover, alteration, or renovation. By renovation he meant the fact of repairing, alteration means making one thing to something different, makeover means improving ones appearance, revolution which is the change of a situation, and recovery which means recap from something, it could be change of religion or political view.
On the other hand, there is the transformation creating contexts which talk about self-concept, self-confidence and self-esteem. Those context are things that create our personality, it is like its part of us. To illustrate, self-concept means the way we see thing and analyze them. Self-confidence means the confidence that we have in ourselves and it make us realize our goals most of the times and self-esteem have to deal with our emotions rather we believe on them or not.
Reflection Paper I
Secondly, I learn about the invention of wheel. Find ways of transportation is something that human created and made in practice long time before the existence of Christ. And by reading those lines I realize how important the invention of wheel is to us, since the technology is increasing every day.
Researches show that language existed long time before writing, but we cannot separate languages from writing because without language we will not have the creation of writing. Writing is not only about what we type or print, but it is about all the images, the sign and the objects that make wring possible. By reading the history of writing, I discover that before the words that we type today were created, signs were the only type of writing that existed. For instance, if we go back to Egypt we will see all the picture writing input in the walls in order for human to express themselves and make other sees their values and objectives.
Finally, I gained a lot of knowledge from those readings because even though I learned about the history of the word and everything that come with it when I was younger, by reading and writing about it make me more captivate about history. And as a pre-teaching intern, I have to know the human history because I will have top teach my student about them. To illustrate, if I have a student that come to me and ask me any kind of questions, I will know that I have the answer for it. In addition it is not only about teaching your student, but teaching yourself before everything else and I feel so comfortable knowing that I learned from those lectures.
